The Harborside Inn is now hiring a seasonal Dock Master for the 2025 season!This position is located on Martha’s Vineyard with housing included.

This internship is designed to engage the public, generate awareness for white shark activity, and promote public safety initiatives. Interns will also take on shifts at the Shark Center Chatham when weather does not permit you to be on the beach.

Looking for a Jolly Captain with an exceptionally friendly demeanor who loves working with the public on the water and wants to showcase New Bedford. We transport people to local attractions, award winning restaurants and moorings in the Port.

This position will play a critical role in delivering our mission to participants in our education and outreach programs. In this position, one will assist with AWSC education programs onsite and offsite along with community outreach events.

One will engage visitors, assist in daily operations, and lead education programs at the Shark Center. One will lead one of our ecotourism programs, Shark Receiver Tours, through Chatham Bars Inn Resort and Spa.
